Seoul Gimpo International Airport (GMP) is Korea's second-largest airport after Incheon International, with the capacity to handle around 250,000 flights per year.
While many visitors to Seoul fly into the city via Incheon Airport, many others arrive via Gimpo. Visitors come with both leisure and business agendas and both require a high standard of hotels and similar accommodation.

Seoul: City Hotels and Accommodation
The greatest selection of hotels can be found in the city centre, around 17 km / 11 miles east from Seoul Gimpo International Airport (GMP). Ranging from budget accommodation for backpackers to the most luxurious hotels that you can imagine, the city of Seoul really does have it all when it comes to lodging.
Those visiting Seoul on a budget should consider the city's inexpensive motels and youth hostels, where rates are cheapest for members and include both dormitory beds and separate rooms. Also popular, although more expensive, are the traditional Korean inns, where mattresses are laid directly on the floor.
